Lok-Katha solicits write-ups from passionate writers on various issues to be published in different sections of this site. Kindly submit your articles on the following categories and submit it for publication. Different sections of the website have different criteria for a write up to get published. You need to register before you can write for Lok-Katha. In order to register, please create an account with an user name and password. Within 24 hours of creating an account you shall become a registered author and shall be able to submit an article for Lok -Katha.

General Guidelines for the Writers

All submissions shall be in English.

All write ups written as First Person Accounts shall be deleted from all the sections except the “My Page” section.

There is no restriction on the US or UK spellings in English but in a single write up an uniform spelling should be followed.

While all submitted write ups shall immediately get published, it will subsequently get deleted if the quality does not match the desirable standards of originality, correctness and clarity of arguments. This means, all the submissions will get eventually cross checked by experts and editors in the relevant sections of the website.

While our editorial policy is not very strict on correctness of your write ups, it is desirable that you cross check your English before submission in order to avoid subsequent deletion of your write up.

There is no restriction on the number of hyper-links as you wish. But be judicious not to make your write up unnecessarily loaded with external links.

Views of the readers also hold a lot of significance in deciding the fate of a write up. A write up that attracts a lot of debate will get a higher rank in the stock of write ups and those with a lot of comments pointing out poor quality will eventually get deleted from the system.
